Coastline Dance Events
The Green Screen Environmental Film Festival is showing the Coastline Dance film “Lightnest”.
The Green Screen Environmental Film Festival & Salon, November 19-22, 2009 celebrates our world and how we live in it with a series of lively events. “Lightnest” film with live performance will be held at The Electric Lodge in Venice, CA on November 22, 3pm in the experimental film section.
Coastline Dance presents Solstice, a collection of winter dances.
Artistic director, Sarah Canfield, and company members Josseline Black/Barnett, Ivanna Wei, and Mary Haynes will be performing the world premiere of “Beyond”, “Sagittarius”, “Tempest”, and presenting a dance film titled “Lightnest”

Coastline Dance presents the complete work of “Tempest”..
Coastline Dance presents an original work inspired by Shakespeare’s “The Tempest”. Artist director, Sarah Canfield, and company members Ivanna Wei, Lisa Wahlander, and Mary Haynes perform ethereal, ocean-like movement to the sound of ocean waves. The original music was composed and will be performed by Suzannne Schwetz and Laura Hughes.

Coastline Dance presents “Miranda and The Sea”.
This eight minute dance piece choreographed by Sarah Canfield and performed by Sarah Canfield, Mary Haynes, Ivanna Wei. Music composed and performed by Suzanne Schwetz and Laura Hughes.

This will be the premiere performance of Coastline Dances “Miranda”.
“Miranda” is a complete section of a work in progress to be titled “Tempest”.
